Walter Cardozo, graduated as Engineer Agronomist from Universidad Nacional del Nordeste, Corrientes, Argentina in 1992. He made a Specialization in Irrigated Rice Seed Production in Universidad de Agronomía ELISEU. MACIEL, Pelotas Brazil.
During the past 25 years has been dedicated to the development and management of integrated projects of rice, from genetics, production, industrial and commercial. He began his professional activity at INTA (Instituto Nacional de Tecnología Agropecuaria). Subsequently and for about 10 years, he oversaw the development of rice of the company Copra, also managing the field operation for all activities of Rice, Seed, Agriculture and Livestock.
Founding member of the group CREA Avati-i arrocero which brings together the best companies in the sector in the Argentine northeast. He is currently Manager of the rice business of Adecoagro. During the past 14 years, Cardozo oversaw the development of more than 40,000 acres of rice, which has included the adequacy, implementation and management of three Rice Mills of last generation. He is currently a representative and member of FLAR for Argentina and Adecoagro, and vice president of Argentina of CONMASUR.
